On 25 April, ILO supported the Migrant Worker Resource Centre in Quang Ngai to organize financial literacy training for 28 potential women migrant workers in Duc Pho district. The training aimed to educate women migrant workers on whether working abroad is the right decision for them and how they can benefit financially from their migration experiences. It covered topics such as financial goal setting, establishing a budget that will help them achieve their goals, coping with the difficulties of family separation, managing family finances during their time abroad, and preparing in advance for return and reintegration. The training was specifically tailored to women migrant workers due to their critical role in managing household finances in Viet Nam.
