Ship to Shore Rights SEA facilitated a network coordination meeting with the participants from labour rights organizations, trade unions and civil society organizations to discuss and advise on the Pre-departure Curriculum for migrant workers in Myanmar.
The curriculum aims at training and educating migrants before their departure to host countries on key resources and information in order to facilitate a safer migration experience for them.
Participants were able to discuss the information and contents of the curriculum and provide feedback. The session discussed accessible and effective training methods in order to best deliver the curriculum to migrant workers.
