On 19 July 2021, ILO introduced the Ship to Shore Rights SEA programme to H.E. Seng Sakda, Director General of Department General of Labour of MOLVT. The meeting resulted in a commitment to build a common understanding of issues of labour migration in the fishing and seafood processing sectors. The MOLVT appointed technical staff to support the programme’s implementation, and agreed to participate in the Project Advisory Committee together with other tripartite plus constituents.
