The International Labour Organization or ILO, in partnership with Cambodia’s National Employment Agency or NEA, conducted a training of trainers among community focal persons for safe migration in Pursat province on 28 February.
The discussed safe migration, consultation and referral processes, pre-departure orientation, and frequently asked questions about migration and related complaint mechanisms.
The participants, 35 in total (five females) also developed their communities’ March-May 2023 work plan for conducting outreach to Snam Preah, Banteay Dey, Sre Sdoc, Koh Chom and Lor Lok Sar communes.
