The ILO organized the 3rd Fishing Network Coordination Meeting in Myanmar with 17 participants) from trade unions, legal aid organizations, labor rights organizations and civil society organization on 9 June. The meeting discussed provision of legal aid to migrant workers and promoting the collaboration of organizations to enhance legal assistance .
At the meeting, The Fifth Pillar, Legal Clinic Myanmar, FED and FLC shared their work, good practices, and experience with legal aid to the migrant workers. Participants brainstormed potential linkages and areas for collaboration among organizations to improve information sharing and access to legal aid.
