To support safe migration, the International Organization on Migration held an outreach activity for 31 migrants (26 women), who live in the Ban Laem Singha District in Chanthaburi Province, Thailand on 17 May.

Most of the migrant workers at the event work in seafood processing factories in the area, while the rest are employed on fishing vessels. Through the community outreach activity, migrant workers and their family members were provided with sector-specific information on safe migration and labour rights in Thailand.
