Ship to Shore Rights South East Asia Programme and TRIANGLE jointly conducted a three-day hybrid operations and monitoring and evaluations (M&E) training for migrant worker resource centres (MRC) at Summit Parkview Hotel in Yangon on 13-15 February.

The training sought to enhance cooperation among, and capacity of, MRC staff to effectively deliver information and assistance to migrant workers in the fishing, seafood processing and other economic sectors. It used a participatory approach, bringing out the knowledge of resource persons from the International Labour Organization (ILO) in Yangon and Bangkok and MRC partners.

Mr. Donglin Li, ILO Yangon office liaison officer and country representative, delivered the opening remarks, while M&E officers from the ILO regional office conducted the training. In attendance were 19 participants (10 females) from CSOs and labour organizations across Myanmar.
