Ship to Shore Rights SEA participate in Thai Ministry of Labour, Department of Labour Protection and Welfare’s flagship training programme on prevention of forced labour and human trafficking. More than 200 multi-disciplinary government officials were trained on forced labour issues and operational indicators. ILO also provided an overview of global child labour and forced labour situation globally as well as the risks of forced labour with vulnerable migrant workers in the fishing, domestic work and agriculture sectors. On 13-16 June and 21-24 June respectively, ILO led the training focused on work in fishing and land-based seafood processing sectors.
