Pre-Departure Information for Migrant Fishers Introduced in Communities of Origin

The ILO supported the community training rollout for the Migrant Fisher Information Packet on 6-8 December. The rollout was facilitated by ‘master trainers’ who previously received training from the Fair Training Center. The goal of the rollout is to engage community leaders to serve as partners for the delivery of the Information Packet in communities of origin for migrant fishers. Following the training, Stella Maris will work with these leaders to conduct community outreach activities using the materials developed.
