Founded in 2009, the Institute for Human Rights and Business (IHRB) is an international think tank on business and human rights. IHRB’s mission is to shape policy, advance practice and strengthen accountability in order to make respect for human rights part of everyday business.
IHRB migrant worker initiatives include:
1) Dhaka Principles for Migration with Dignity: A key framework for understanding and addressing the challenges facing migrant workers at every stage of the migration cycle.
2) Leadership Group for Responsible Recruitment: A coalition of leading international companies and expert organisations committed to eradicating the payment of recruitment fees by workers in their supply chains.
3) Responsible Recruitment Gateway: Open source tools and resources to support companies in implementing the Employer Pays Principle.
