Seafood Task Force is an industry-led coalition of US and European retailers and consumer goods companies and Thai seafood processors and feed manufacturers, supported by NGOs advisors, which works collectively to address human rights abuses and illegal fishing in seafood supply chains. The Seafood Task Force has eight working groups that focus on traceability, oversight, and verification of seafood supply chains, with one working group focused on responsible recruitment of migrant workers into the Thai seafood industry. The Seafood Task Force focuses on Thailand but reports that it is considering expanding across the Southeast and South Asia regions.
