The Sustainable Seafood Consumer Hub is a consumer advocacy tool. It is an online challenge to engage US consumers in discussions related to human rights abuses at sea, environmental sustainability of fish products, and private sector actions to sell more seafood deemed sustainable by asking consumers where they shop, what they buy, and what motivates their purchasing habits. It then calculates a score for the interested consumer to encourage them to get in touch with their grocery stores to advocate for seafood products that are more environmentally sustainable.
