On 27-30 June 2022, IOM conducted Training of Trainer (TOT) on Case Management to Return and Reintegration of Victims of Trafficking in Persons. The session was officially opened by the Secretary of State of Ministry of Social Affair Veteran and Youth Rehabilitation, Deputy Governor of Siem Reap province and head of Provincial Department of Social Affair Veteran and Youth Rehabilitation. In total, 26 participants from government and non-government institutions attended the TOT and introduced with the case management approach in designing reintegration programmes and counselling techniques with vulnerable migrants. Together with IOM, the participants are expected to cascade the knowledge and skills gained from this training to the frontline officers at sub-national levels in six targeted provinces. This TOT and upcoming roll-out trainings will be conducted through IOM-Ship to Shore project funded by European Union and IOM Asia Regional Migration Program funded by US Government.
