The first network meeting with civil society organizations (CSOs) and labour organizations was organized on 25 November 2021 to enhance coordination and collaboration on assisting migrant workers in the fishing and seafood processing sector in Myanmar. Over 30 grassroots organizations met to share their work and build linkages with other stakeholders active in the target sectors. The discussion focused on identification of key technical areas for the network to collaborate on. A fruitful discussion led to the development of several priorities for action, including pre-departure orientation, legal assistance and reintegration services for migrant workers in the fishing and seafood processing sectors
