The Stella Maris Seafarer’s Centre works with workers (including migrant workers) vulnerable to labour exploitation in the fishing and seafaring industries. Stella Maris centres provide access to information on labour rights, support workers to access legal and social services, and offer emergency shelter. Stella Maris has offices in ports around Malaysia, the Philippines, and Thailand. In Malaysia Stella Maris is present at Glenn Cruise Terminal and Port Kelang. In the Philippines Stella Maris centres are at ports in Batangas, Bohol, Cagayan De Oro, Cebu, Iligan, La Union, Maasin, Makar General Santos, Manila, Sasa, and Davao City. In Thailand, Stella Maris works in the following ports: Kerry Siam Seaport, Laemchabang Port, Map Ta Put Port, Pattani, Rayong, Samae San, Si Chang Anchorage, Songkhla, and Sriracha.
