The Environmental Justice Foundation (EJF) is a UK-based non profit organization working internationally to protect the environment and human rights. Through investigative research, public awareness campaigns, and government advocacy, EJF seeks to promote awareness of illegal fishing and associated human rights abuses. Its investigations have focused on Thai fisheries, Vietnamese fishing vessels in Thai waters, and Taiwanese and Korean vessels in Indonesian waters. EJF also works with governments to improve fisheries transparency, in line with its ten principles for seafood transparency.
