The Ethical Trading Initiative (ETI) is an alliance of companies, trade unions and NGOs that promotes respect for workers’ rights around the globe. Corporare members of ETI agree to adopt the ETI Base Code of labour practice. ETI works with its corporate members to work out the most effective steps companies can take to implement the Base Code in their supply chains. ETI seeks to support workers, to build strategic alliances, to persuade and influence key players, and to drive improvements in corporate members’ supply chains.
