The ILO’s Ship to Shore Rights Southeast Asia Programme held a virtual National Programme Advisory Committee (NPAC) Meeting in Indonesia on July 21, 2021. A tripartite-plus NPAC for Indonesia is a multi-stakeholder committee that provides technical, strategic, and policy guidance and oversight on the programme implementation at the country level and will ensure that the programme remains aligned with national priorities and frameworks and responds to relevant political and policy changes.

The Secretary-General of the Ministry of Manpower of the Republic of Indonesia and the Programme Manager of the European Union Delegation to Indonesia and Brunei Darussalam led the meeting. The NPAC meeting reviewed and unanimously agreed to endorse the proposed work plan developed by the Programme for Indonesia.
