MAP Foundation’s mission is to empower migrant workers from Myanmar and their communities to take action to claim their rights, in part by ensuring that migrants have full access to up to date information on rights, policies and laws in their own language; and to fight discrimination against migrant workers, especially women and families, so that they can receive their full labour rights, are healthy, their children go to school, and they are able to integrate into Thai society. MAP Founfation’s Labour Rights for All Programme assists migrants in redressing labour exploitation through rights education, informal collective bargaining, accessing the legal system and campaigning for policies for greater protection of their rights.
