The Indonesian Migrant Workers’ Union (SBMI) is an organization of Indonesian migrant workers and their members. It was established on February 25, 2003. Formerly known as the Federation of Indonesian Migrant Workers Organizations (FOBMI), it pioneered and advocated the Migrant Workers Consortium (KOPBUMI) since 2000 through an organization called the National Migrant Workers Network. SBMI has been recognized as a Trade Union since 2006.
