The ILO has been actively involved in providing technical support to the Thai Government to effectively implement the Work in Fishing Convention, 2007 (No.188). In this regard, the ILO provided technical support to the Thai Government for a workshop on 31 January to develop a response to the direct request for information on implementation of the Convention. The workshop was a crucial step in facilitating communication and coordination among relevant government agencies.
