The ILO organized two training courses on the new Law 69 and its sub-laws on labour migration governance. Hosted in Ha Tinh city and Cam Xuyen districts of Ha Tinh province on March 21 and 22, the training engaged a total of 99 participants (52 women), representing the leadership of 30 commune committees and labour officials. The objective was to enhance their knowledge of the new laws relating to regulation of recruitment agencies, rights of migrant workers, recruitment costs and related fees, sanctions for law violations and other topics. Following the trainings, the participants reported gaining a better understanding of their responsibilities in implementing the new regulatory framework.
