The International Labour Organization in partnership with Cambodia’s National Employment Agency or NEA conducted community forums on safe migration at Sre Sdoc commune on 17 February and at Rom Leak commune on February 23. Both were attended by 50 participants (16 females in the first, 15 females in the second).
The forums discussed safe migration and labour rights to prospective migrant workers and distributed a leaflet containing tips for safe migration titled “Travel Smart, Work Smart.” The activity is geared to helping the attendees make informed decisions about migration.
